Tidal Park and Kayak Cafe
This project idea was a kayak storage facility and park located on the water in a cove in San Francisco. It’s essentially a floating system of trees and platforms that drift with the tides. The challenging part was thinking about the mechanics of how the walkways would remain stationary while the trees and platforms were able to move. I made a model of the individual kayak storage unit as well as of the entire park.
